Kayak in Oslo
If there is something you should do while staying in Oslo, it is to spend a day of kayaking on the Oslofjord!
Hvitserk is Norway's leading provider of expeditions and adventure holidays. This summer we offer kayak trips on the Oslofjord.
Ready for an Oslo-adventure? Join us and see Norway’s capital from the waterside.
Your guide will meet you at the seawater pool at Sørenga, one of Oslo's new waterfront neighborhoods, close to the impressive Opera House. After a short introduction you will set off, and for the next hours we will enjoy Oslo from its most prominent angle – there is no better way to enjoy Oslo than in a kayak!
Our tour will take you to the beautiful islands just outside the city centre, but also close to the Oslo Opera House, the new Barcode-skyline, the Oslo City Hall, the Akershus fortress, Aker Brygge, the museums at Bygdøy and the Astrup Fearnley Collection, a museum designed by the renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano.
We stop at one of the idyllic islands in the innermost part of the 100 kilometers long Oslofjord – and explore the hidden gems, take a swim, and eat ice-cream on this “summerhouse-island”.
You don’t need to be an experienced kayaker to join – our trips are suitable for both beginners and experienced kayakers. We have an easy tempo which suits all abilities. No previous experience is required, and the paddle techniques are easy to learn.
We have carefully selected and experienced guides, at any time they stand ready to ensure that you will experience the beautiful Oslofjord, the harbor – as well as the idyllic islands and the new, urban architecture surrounding it.
