WINTER 2018

Northern lights (for groups/operators)

Besides fjords and mountains, Norway is known for being maybe the best place in the world for experiencing the northern lights. Bring family and friends along on a holiday in the stunningly beautiful Arctic winter. Our experiences are tailor made only, and our office team stands ready to give you the best experiences possible. With numerous years of experience from the Arctic, our office team ensures that you can take your kids ice-fishing, sleeping in an ice-hotel, go dog sledding on the tundra, and of course hunt for the northern lights when the sun has settled.

Arctic Norway skiing adventure

Departure dates: 2018-03-08

Many people dream of doing a polar skiing expedition. The classical crossing of the county Finnmark is a good start! Forbes travel magazine named the crossing of Finnmarksvidda one of the five most stunning skiing trips in the world. The 80 beautiful kilometers are situated in the same area where the native Sami people have herded reindeer for generations. Few, if any places in the world are better for experiencing the Northern Lights!

Hiking in Fjord Norway

Departure dates: 28.07.2018

On the 28th of July we meet up in the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund for a hike in some of the most extraordinary landscape Norway can provide. During the six days of hiking, you will explore around the Hjorundfjord. Every day, we hike among green and spectacular mountains, with the blue magnificent fjord always following us. On the hike, we will sleep in small houses by the fjord, well-equipped lodges in the mountain, modern hotels, high-class renovated hotels from the 19th century, mountains huts, and eat local food from the areas that we visit.

Hiking, biking, and kayaking in Fjord Norway

Departure dates: 15.07.2018, 05.08.2018

In Hvitserk of Norway, we have always argued that the active participation and exploration in small groups are the best way of experiencing and learning about fjords, mountains, cultures, northern lights, and all the other things that make Norway special. You can join our hiking, biking, and kayaking in Fjord Norway on two different dates in 2018. On both 15th of July and 5th of August, we will start our 6-day long trip from the mountains and to the tip of the most magnificent, untouched area that Norway can offer. See you there!

"My 2 daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip -- it was the exciting adventure that we'd hoped for in Norway!"

“I really enjoyed the whole week and wish I could have stayed for longer. Lofoten is such an amazing place, beautiful scenery, great hiking conditions, lovely friendly people... I had the best time exploring it. I said to the guides that by the end of the week my face was hurting as I'd been smiling so much.”
