If you met the group in Bodø last night you will take an early ferry (around 6 am) from Bodø til Lofoten. We will have a breakfast to go from the hotel. After arriving/meeting the group in Moskenes around noon, we drive a short distance to our destination. Å is the westernmost fishing village in Lofoten, the surroundings here are spectacular! Here you also have the chance to visit Lofoten Stockfish museum, and the Fishing Village museum (museum not included). Lofoten is famous for stockfish and all around the islands you will see huge racks with drying fish. After having a look around the village, we take a short drive Tind, and hike to Tindstind (468 meters). The hike is quite easy, and it takes 3-4 hours, it takes you to one of Norway’s most amazing views. After the hike, we have a nice dinner, and retire to our cozy rorbus. We guarantee that you will love the beach (even if the water is cold) and the view from the mountain. The idyllic beach is surrounded by green plains and steep mountains and the view from the mountain is remarkable. We continue to Ballstad and stay in a rorbu by the sea.
