Why does the sun shine during the midnight? How can I see the midnight sun? These are the top places to experience the midnight sun in all its glory!
Why does the sun shine during the midnight?
The earth is rotating at a tilted axis relative to the sun, and during the summer months, the North Pole is angled towards our star. That’s why, for several weeks, the sun never sets above the Arctic Circle.

How can I see it?
The average tourist visiting Norway usually go to the North Cape to experience the midnight sun. If you travel with people who have local knowledge, it is possible to experience the midnight sun in the magnificent natural scenery. Nothing is better than experiencing the midnight sun on a mountain top or on a beach by the enormous sea while enjoying some local food.
